- A&P Certified Mechanic
- Inspection Authorization (IA)
- I am an A&P I.A. with 18 years of experience in aviation. I started as a P-3C Orion Flight Engineer in the Navy. After serving I spent a few years in the auto industry and decided I missed aviation too much and went to work for a Cirrus flight training school and service center. I started there answering phones but worked my way up to running the shop as Director of Maintenance. I left to expand my skill set and have been working on private jets and turboprops for the last few years. Now it is time to get out on my own.
- I have over 10,000 hours working on Cirrus Aircraft from G1 up to G6 SRX series. The same can be said for the associated engines equipped on Cirrus, Continental IO-360-ES, IO-550-N, IO-550-N (TURBONORMALIZED-TATI), TSIO-550-N (CONTINENTAL STC REPLACMENT FOR THE FORMER), TSIO-550-K. Lycoming IO-390-C3B6. I have since worked on various models of the IO-550, and O-200.
- Concerning turboprops and private jets I can do most of the airframe work and inspections but I do not yet have all the tooling so this is case by case. If you are AOG I can get the tools to get you back on in the air. I am able to perform avionics software updates on Avidyne, Garmin G1000/ G3000, and some Honeywell systems. Navigational databases are also something I can assist with. Factory training is as follows: Cirrus Factory training for Composite repair, Parachute Repacks, and SR2X maintenance. Continental Motors factory training for IO-550 MX. Cessna 525 familiarization at Flight Safety International.
- I am primarily equipped for piston scheduled inspections: Annuals, 100 hours, prebuys oil/tire changes. I can however perform AOG work on some jets and turboprops. A/C models: Cirrus SR20, 22, 22(TATI-G3 turbo), and 22T. Cirrus SF50. Beechcraft A36. TBM 700- 950. Pilatus PC-12. IAI Westwind II, Cessna 525, 525A, 525B, Cessna 680. Cessna 150, Cessna 185
- I am also in the aircraft fix/flip and aircraft leasing business. If you are considering selling your aircraft and need an annual, prebuy, or are getting close to TBO and are looking to trade into something newer, I am interested.
